Opening title #5

Peter Davison became the Doctor in 1981. At this time, he was a household face in Britain, having starred in 'All Creatures Great and Small'. He brought the best elements of all the earlier Doctors into his version. This Doctor had several encounters with The Master (now played by Anthony Ainley) and had plenty of Earthbound adventures. His time came to an end in 1984 due to declining ratings. Colin Baker would be the man to follow him.
