The above picture represents what happened to our room after Keisha had an accident. No, I can't call this an accident. I mean, yes, it was an accident in terms of the fact that she didn't mean to do it. But it was much larger than a little accident. It was a major catastrophe that STUNK to high Heaven. It all began when I was rudely awaken by Dwayne at 2:30 in the morning to him saying, "Why didn't you wake me up?" I was half asleep but I am still brilliant enough to have coherent thoughts at that hour of the night, or I should say morning. Anyways, I was wondering who the heck he was talking to. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks. An INTENSE, awful, disgusting, putrid, horrible, aren't enough bad words to describe it, stench. Yes my friends, Keisha had decided to honor us with her lack of control of her bodily functions. Now I'm not talking about just one bodily function, but TWO. She puked and had diarrhea on our bedroom floor. And I'm not talking a little bit of puke and diarrhea here folks... I'm talking she was talented enough to cover the whole floor that wasn't already covered by furniture. So poor Dwayne spent about 45 minutes cleaning it up while I fell in and out of sleep despite the horrible smell overtaking my nostrils. At one point I woke up and looked at him and he had one of his tee-shirts wrapped around his face because he was gagging so bad. Hehehe! It's kinda funny now that I think about it. It's times like these when a wife realizes how happy she is to have a man around the house! There's no way that Dwayne would even dream of expecting me to clean up a mess like that. It's so horrible an experience that he knows it's automatically his responsibility. That is how wonderful my husband is!!! Now my room has a number of different odors floating around. Take your pick which fragrance you'd like to smell! Now if we can avoid getting brain damage from inhaling all these cleaners we'll be doing good. And it looks like Keisha is feeling better. Let's pray she doesn't have another accident tonight! We need our sleep! |
