Dear Honey,

I believe I have determined, that while this is a difficult decision for me to make, I will need to cut my finger nails short again.  I can no longer keep nail polish on them without it chipping after 1 or 2 days.  This is very disconcerting for me because once the polish begins to chip I then become obsessed with peeling the rest off while I am SUPPOSED to be working and concentrating on other things.  Please join with me in making this decision.  How would you feel about having a wife who has short finger nails once again?  Would this cause terrible heartache and stress for you?

Yes, sorry I haven't responded yet.  You told me to give it some thought.  I haven't been able to get it off my mind since you emailed me.  I keep going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...  I'm not sure yet if I'm ok with that.
