Ahhh... finally... it's payday.  I love payday.  Now if only I could spend my money on fun things instead of bills, I'd be all set.  Oh well. 

I have a COOL new nail polish color.

Our kitchen looks awesome.  It will look even more awesome once I get it all decorated and finally get the wall paper and border ordered and put up.  I can't wait, but I'll have to since I can't afford to do everything all at once.  Dwayne converted the kitchen closet into a food pantry and it's sooooo neato.  And neat.  Organized.  Just plain cool.  Umm... I just like it.  Once it's done I'll have to take some pictures of it.  I'm going to try and decorate with mirrors so that it will make it brighter in there.  I'm just so excited!!

Okay I have much to do and think about!  Like work and other boring stuff!

 Sundays and I do not get along very well.  I have always had a rough time with Sundays.  For some reason there is always this impending sense of doom hanging over me that I can rarely shake.  That's frustrating because it's God's day so I should enjoy it more.  I could understand my Sunday dread when I was in school and miserable that I'd have to go back every Monday.  I could understand also if I hated my job and didn't like getting up and going to work.  But I'm not in school anymore, nor do I hate my job.  So it somewhat baffles me why I still feel so disoriented and yucky on Sundays.

Yesterday we spent the day at the lake.  Highlights:

** Caitlin was very cute when she saw a duck swimming in the water and informed me... "There's a duck... there's ONE duck, he's one duck... he's going home to his family."  (How do three year olds come up with stuff like this?!)

** At one point while I was swimming I felt what I thought was a leaf between my toes, but to my COMPLETE HORROR found out that it was some kind of snake/eel/fish/slimey thing about 4 inches long.  No girl likes to have these types of experiences, although I did live to tell about it, amazingly enough.  Dwayne on the other hand spent about 1 hour chasing it all over the lake wearing goggles so he could watch it underwater.

** ?!?  I never claimed to understand men.

** I got a sun burn on my face and it hurts.  I used sun block but I guess I didn't have enough on, or didn't put it on often enough.  So the freckles on my arms expanded again.  Pretty soon, once all my freckles connect, I'll have a nice tan.

** I got to try out my new beach lounge chair.  And Emely climbed up on my lap and fell asleep in my arms for a while.  How beautiful it is to hold a sleeping child.

Later, after we got home, Amanda and I decided to go see the movie "Shrek".  That was such a cute and funny movie!  I loved it.  Just one thing I didn't like about it was that right when we got to the theater there were these two teenage boys fist fighting.  I do not like to see fights like that.  It makes me nervous and sick to my stomach.

Today Dwayne and I went to see "Artificial Intelligence".  That movie was totally strange and messed up.  I didn't like it at all, except for the fact that that kid is an awesome actor.
